The fluid coupler is located on the back of the spray gun where the refillable cartridge clicks into. It will be the bottom left valve next to the green button. This fluid coupler opens when the cartridge is inserted, and the tanning solution passes through when the cartridge is pressurized. When the cartridge is removed the coupler closes the passage and the solution stays sealed inside the tubing area.

The seal inside the fluid coupler gets worn out overtime or sooner if the spray gun is not well maintained with cleaning procedures and can eventually cause the solution to not pass through.
