The Evolv Heated Airbrush Machines are designed to work only with the Evolv brand tanning solution. Using other solutions may affect the spray tanning development on the skin and is not recommended.

The 2-hour accelerator developer allows the user to shower in 2 hours, while the 4-hour accelerator developer allows the user to shower in 4 hours, both faster than the regular 8-10 hour wait time.

The Evolv solution is designed to be warm upon application, reaching approximately 98 degrees Fahrenheit. This warmth helps prevent the formation of goosebumps and ensures a smooth, even tan.

Aside from size, the main difference is that the full-size Sidekick features wheels, a 3-stage extension handle, a hanger bar for the spray gun, and a storage compartment. The Mini lacks these but shares the same operation controls, heat features, hose, and spray gun.

The Evolv machine is designed for Evolv solutions, which contain a unique heat-resistant ingredient. Using the heat feature with other solutions can damage the spray gun. While the machine can spray other solutions, we recommend turning off the heat feature.

Tanning solution does stain clothes. If color transfers from the skin onto the clothes, the particles of color will start to lock into the fabric, causing a permanent stain. If you get to it quickly enough, however, it is possible to stop the color locking in. It's always recommend wearing dark colors right after the spray application. Light colored clothes would be visible. Once the application is fully developed and after first shower it shouldn't stain the clothes

When using all-over sunless tanning, sprays containing DHA it may be difficult to avoid exposure to sensitive areas including eyes, lips, mucous membranes or internally. An Evolv airbrush tan will last anywhere between 5 to 8 days. Results may vary depending on the client’s skin type and skin condition. If the client is exposing their tan to water ex. swimming, Jacuzzis etc. Their tan may fade quicker than if they are just showering or bathing daily. To extend the life of their Evolv airbrush tan recommend using Evolv's Daily Glo Moisturizer.

No, not if you don’t get a spray tan that is too many shades darker than your own natural skin color or getting extra layers or oversaturating. Going too dark (higher DHA) based solution on a fair skinned person will not look as natural as it would on a client with olive color skin. The great advantage to Evolv's solution platform is that we have something for everybody’s skin tone and tanning needs. We can blend the perfect color solution for each individual client.
